The week gone by saw several good things happen, and some bad things too. While the positives outweighed the negatives, we bring you the top 10 stories that’ll either bring a smile on your face or make you feel disheartened
Kangana Ranaut (GOOD): Kangana is definitely in the best phase of her life. The actress has been conferred with the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India. She is also riding high on the laurels of her latest release, Panga.
Karan Johar (GOOD): The darling director of Bollywood, Karan Johar is also smiling from ear to ear. The filmmaker has also been bestowed with the Padma Shri Award for excellence in art.
Alia Bhatt (GOOD): As Kangana was bestowed with the Padma Shri Award, her contemporary Alia Bhatt extended an olive brand by sending her a bouquet of flowers, to wish her congratulations. Not to forget, Kangana had called her ‘KJo’s Puppet’ amongst several other things in the past. But, Alia like a mature professional, has taken the first step.
Sejal Sharma (UGLY): As Kushal Tandon rightly pointed out that nobody in depression should ever think of taking their life. After Kushal Punjabi, another shocking death news hit us as TV actress Sejal Sharma committed suicide on Jan 24.
Jagan Shakti (BAD): Mission Mangal director, Jagan Shakti has been hospitalized and reportedly, is in a serious state as he has been diagnosed with a clot in his brain. We hope the man recovers soon.
Ekta Kapoor (GOOD): The TV czarina has also been bestowed with the Padma Shri award and naturally, congratulations have been pouring in aplenty for the lady.
Naseeruddin Shah- Anupam Kher controversy (BAD): It was very sad to read two seasoned actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher each of whom is unarguably an ocean of talent, hurling brickbats at each other- stemming from their difference of opinion on CAA.
Ranveer Singh (GOOD): The promotional campaign of 83 has begun in full swing and Ranveer along with his squad is pumped up as they promote their film in various cities. The Kabir Khan directorial that will see Ranveer essay cricketing legend Kapil Dev on celluloid is earning him praises for his resemblance to the cricketer. Another feather in Bhansali’s Bajirao’s cap?
Akanksha Puri-Paras Chhabra (UGLY): Bigg Boss 13 has apparently cost them their relationship. Paras Chhabra’s affinity for Mahira Sharma did not go well with Akanksha.
Munisha Khatwani (GOOD): TV actress and famous Tarot card reader, Munisha Khatwani recently got engaged to businessman, Sameer Thakur. The grand event took place in Bandra and we even brought you pictures from the ceremony.
